Cadet Specialist Course

This is a 4 day course conducted in SISPEC at Pasir Laba Camp, that moulds Part C cadets into leaders through a series of comprehensive lessons. In this course, cadets are taught attributes of leadership like integrity and character, alongside with instructional abilities on weapon handling and Individual Field Craft. They are also introduced to the infantry section and support weapons such as the 120mm mortar and the Section Automatic Weapon.

Cadets are continually being assessed throughout the course, both by their instructors as well as their fellow cadets. Graduands are expected to assist in the instruction and discipline of the cadets put under their charge after undergoing this course. At the end of the course, cadets are promoted to the rank of 3SG and awarded the prestigious Army-NCC Badge.
